The digital age for model train starts!
A digital model railroad is often not a toy for small children. The digital technology allows the complete control of the entire system with all functions by just only a few cables. Unfortunately this technique with it's components are really expensive and not affordable for everyone.
This website will show you how to diy components by your own.
On this page you can find a lot of tips and further information for DIY of controls for a digital model railway. You will find function, descriptions and circuits for example:
- DCC Central Station with network,
- S88(N) Feedback or
- Loconet von Digitrax for Arduino.
- XpressNet from Lenz and ROCO for the Arduino. Most of the circuits and building instructions were made, because the commercially available kits or building blocks are really expensive. Some circuits are extensions or improvements of other hobby model railroad builder.
Links to their projects as well as information about the digital Car-System can be found on the right side in the menu bar.
